On February 1st 2014 the new Single European Payments Area (SEPA) Migration End-Date Regulation (EC260/2012) comes into effect. It is destined to change the European payments landscape for the foreseeable future. In essence all Euro next-day-payments will have to flow through SEPA and comply with the new regulations.

Being ready for SEPA is a key driver for the majority of medium to large corporates operating within or with countries in the European market.

PelicanPay is SEPA compliant and capable of accepting, generating and processing customer-to-bank (C2B) ISO 20022 XML standard messages. Payment processing adheres to the official European guidelines for the implementation of the Customer to Bank SEPA Credit Transfer (CT) scheme and SEPA Core Direct Debit (DD) scheme.
